Pet Loss and Bereavement Support

By |

Many people suffer alone when they lose a pet. They feel alienated because others don’t understand how they feel.

You don’t have to grieve alone.

Palliative Care Programs

During a pet’s end-of-life stage, many owners wish to care for their companion animals at home. This type of care is both valuable and rewarding but it can be draining for pet owners.

We’re here to help support you during this difficult time. We can help you monitor your pet’s level of pain, prescribe medication or alternative therapies as needed, and gauge their quality of life to know when it is time to let go. It is important for us to be here for you every step of the way in your pet’s life journey.

Behaviour Counseling

By |

Behaviour problems such as biting, destructive chewing, excessive vocalization and inappropriate elimination are common reasons why pets may be abandoned or given up.

Fortunately, most problem behaviours can be avoided by starting proper training techniques at an early age, or corrected later in life with counseling from your vet. We can work with you and your pet to provide training tips, positive reinforcement methods, behaviour modification techniques and medication, if necessary.
