Videoendoscopy and Gastrointestinal Evaluations

Using videoendoscopy, we are able to directly visualize the passages inside a pet, from stomach, intestines and colon to the nasal passages, airways and reproductive tract.

Videoendoscopy can also be combined with specially designed instruments, for example, to remove many foreign objects from a pet’s stomach that would otherwise require surgery.

We can also inspect passages for inflammation, parasites and tumours; take biopsies or cultures; or identify developmental defects.

Endoscopic equipment can also be used to facilitate breeding of female dogs by depositing frozen or chilled semen directly into the uterus, increasing the odds of reproductive success.
