Wellness & Preventive Care

We provide routine care including vaccinations, health exams, and parasite control with an emphasis on prevention. Our preventive programs are lifestyle-based, and include tailored care to puppies and kittens, adult pets, and seniors.

Diagnostic & Laboratory Testing

Our hospital has an advanced in-house laboratory and many tests can be performed while you wait. We also offer digital x-ray and dental x-ray, video endoscopy, ultrasound, and more.

Surgery

Our veterinarians perform routine surgery such as spaying and neutering, as well as soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and other complex procedures. We also offer minimally invasive surgery using laparoscopy for canine spays and gastropexies.

Dentistry

Our dental services include routine teeth cleaning and digital dental x-rays, as well as extractions and minor oral surgery when required.

Pain Management

Our veterinarians have received additional certification in Veterinary Pain Management (IVAPM) and are highly trained at recognizing and treating pain in dogs and cats. Our hospital also accepts referrals for pain management from other veterinary practitioners.

OrthoPets Custom Braces

Our hospital is a Canadian OrthoPets Partner Clinic. We employ specially trained staff who can develop custom fittings for orthotic and prosthetic devices for pets, and ensure that each patient receives the best possible outcome.

Nutrition

We offer nutritional counselling for a variety of feeding choices for your pet. We also offer weight-loss management programs and assistance with developing nutritionally balanced homemade diets.

In addition to traditional treatments, Cedarview Animal Hospital offers a variety of alternative therapies, such as acupuncture and chiropractic, to improve your pet’s well-being and comfort.
